The Community & Technical College System (CTCS) is our network of community and technical colleges that serve every region of the Mountain State. Our colleges allow students to get the education and training they need to succeed in today's economy, and to do so affordably and close to home.
Community and technical college graduates go on to good-paying jobs - careers that are in demand and on the rise in West Virginia - or use their education as a launch pad for a four-year degree and beyond.
Employers across West Virginia partner with CTCS to ensure that the education and training being offered at our colleges aligns with available and growing jobs in the state. They also work with us to provide on-the-job training - simultaneous with a student's education - so graduates leave campus not only with their degrees, but also strongly prepared for the real-world workforce.
Our colleges want to partner with businesses in the state. We are always looking for new ways to help employers meet their workforce needs. Whether it’s retraining existing employees or hiring for new positions, our colleges are helping to meet the workforce and economic development demands of our state.
