Advanced Technology CentersThe West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education is developing two new Advanced Technology Centers. Site preparation is under way for the 50,000 square foot, $15 Million facility in the Advantage Valley area, to be followed by a 60,000 square foot, $17.6 Million facility in Fairmont. The Advanced Technology Centers will provide a setting for collaboration in the delivery of technical programs among community and technical colleges. These new facilities provide ample laboratory space for programs such as electro/mechanical technology, power plant operation, chemical operators, advanced welding, and computer networking technology.
